What is the sum of the two numbers?
The product of two numbers is 144 and their difference is 10. What is the sum of the two numbers?
MetroEye:
Refer KeyFormulas
As per formula, \( (A+B)^2 = (A-B)^2 + 4AB\)
=> \( (A+B)^2 = 10^2 + 4\cdot 144 \) = 100+576 = 676
=> A+B = \(\sqrt{676}\) = 26
The sum of two numbers is 26.
